CVSS v3.1 |
| zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 1.3.0 until 9.0.0, ZipArchive::extract in src/read/mod.rs calls Vec::with_capacity for a symbolic link target using the attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed_size before reading entry data. A small archive can request an impossible capacity, causing the infallible allocation path to abort the process before the entry is validated. The failure cannot be contained with catch_unwind or a worker thread, allowing repeated denial of service in archive-processing applications. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0. |
| zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 5.1.0 until 9.0.0, applications built with the legacy-zip feature can reserve output capacity from an attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed size before validating the compressed stream. The ShrinkDecoder path in src/legacy/shrink.rs can panic with a capacity overflow during ZipArchive::extract, and the Reduce and Implode decoders contain the same unbounded preallocation pattern. An unhandled panic can terminate an archive-processing service. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0. |
| **UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED** Unbounded allocation in XML parsing in Apache Vysper; all versions, may lead to an out of memory condition.
This issue affects all versions of Apache Vysper. Apache Vysper is an XMPP (Jabber) server library.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative. |
| A security vulnerability has been identified in the WolfProt interface implementation. Insufficient neutralization of user-controlled input could allow an unauthenticated attacker with network access to a vulnerable service to execute operating-system commands with the privileges of the affected application service. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the /htdocs/web/diagnostic.php endpoint of D-Link DAP1160L A1_FW101WWb04 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via injecting arbitrary shell metacharacters. |
| pfSense CE 2.4.5 through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated WebGUI users with Advanced Admin Access privilege to execute commands as root via Login Protection settings. Attackers can submit sshguard threshold, block time, or detection time values containing newlines or $(...) that are written unvalidated to sshguard.conf and sourced as root on restart. |
| Netgate pfSense CE through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with gateway edit privileges to execute commands as root by injecting shell metacharacters into an IPv6 link-local zone index. Attackers can set a gateway Monitor IP whose unvalidated zone carries a payload, which start_dpinger() passes unescaped to the dpinger shell command when monitoring is applied. |
| AdPlug through 2.4 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in CksmPlayer::update() in src/ksm.cpp that writes past the fixed databuf[2048] array without bounds checking. Attackers can supply a crafted .ksm module whose notes share one time slot to overflow the heap player object, causing memory corruption and denial of service. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Sunwood-ai-labs github-kanban-mcp-server up to 0.4.0. Impacted is the function handleListIssues of the file src/handlers/issue-handlers.ts. Such manipulation of the argument state/labels leads to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 0.4.1 is recommended to address this issue. The name of the patch is 253d93bbdf7ee9fe42bd8fdf15feea93ae59cbae. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains a vulnerability during device configuration where a malicious device can cause memory corruption. The software writes configuration data to a fixed-size array without checking if the array index exceeds its maximum size of EC_MAXFMMU entries. A device presenting more than EC_MAXFMMU configuration blocks can force writes beyond the array boundary, corrupting adjacent memory structures and potentially disrupting subsequent operations. |
| libTiMidity through 0.2.8 contains a stack out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the SoundFont loader that allows attackers to corrupt stack memory via unchecked generator operators in parse_gen. Attackers can supply a crafted .sf2 file with out-of-range pgen/igen operator values to write chosen 16-bit values near the stack Layer object, causing crashes and stack memory corruption. |
| V-SFT provided by FUJI ELECTRIC CO., LTD. contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. Opening a crafted V7 file may lead to information exposure or arbitrary code execution on the affected product. |
| A flaw has been found in Ahsay AhsayCBS up to 9.15.2.69/10.3.4.44. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /rps/api/json/UpdateReceivers.do of the component Replication Receiver. Executing a manipulation of the argument random can lead to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 9.15.2.70 and 10.3.4.45 is able to resolve this issue. Upgrading the affected component is advised. The initial patch did not fix the security vulnerability properly. An update of the CVE entry to reflect this became necessary. |
| Open5GS 1.3.0 through 2.8.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in parse_multipart() that allows unauthenticated attackers to corrupt memory by supplying an empty multipart boundary. Attackers can send a single crafted multipart/related request to the SBI interface of any network function, overflowing the lookbehind buffer and crashing it. |
| Netty netty-tcnative before 2.0.84.Final contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the tcn_write_to_bytebuffer BIO callback caused by failing to wrap the non-application ring buffer write index. Remote TLS peers can drive handshake, renegotiation, or post-handshake messages into this buffer, triggering an out-of-bounds memcpy that crashes the JVM process. |
| Out-of-bounds write in Windows Schannel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 Mattermost fail to apply allocation limits to the byte-string decode paths in its WebSocket msgpack decoder, which allows an authenticated remote attacker to cause excessive server memory allocation via a crafted binary WebSocket frame declaring a Bin32 payload length of up to 4,294,967,295 bytes.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00768 |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream.
Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1. |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in the Count-Min sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
count_min_sketch::deserialize() did not include the preamble in its input size check, so a truncated sketch could cause a read of up to 16 bytes past the end of the input. In addition, the table size was computed from the serialized number of buckets and number of hash functions in 32-bit arithmetic. A crafted sketch could make it wrap to zero, so that the sketch deserialized with an empty table, and later updates and estimate queries read and wrote outside the heap allocation. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 4.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Count-Min sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| The root-privileged `wsserver` terminal-bridge daemon builds a shell command from client-supplied WebSocket fields and passes it to `system()` and `popen()` without quoting, escaping, or character-set validation. The daemon's public-key session path performs no appliance-session check. |
