CVSS v3.1 |
| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 3.7.0-ea.1 until 3.7.5, there is a medium severity vulnerability in Traefik's Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider that causes affected routes to fail open. When an Ingress explicitly enables BasicAuth or DigestAuth through the supported nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/auth-type and auth-secret annotations, but the referenced auth Secret cannot be resolved or parsed, Traefik logs the resolution error, skips installing the authentication middleware, and still emits a router to the backend service. A route that operators intended to protect is therefore published to the data plane without its authentication control, allowing unauthenticated access to the backend. The trigger is an invalid or unresolved auth dependency — a missing, malformed, unreadable, or policy-denied Secret — rather than an intentionally unprotected route. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.5. |
| Improper handling of additional special element in Microsoft Exchange Server allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, netty_unix_socket_recvFd sets msg_control to `char control[CMSG_SPACE(sizeof(int))]` (line 940) — 24 bytes on 64-bit Linux. A peer-sent SCM_RIGHTS cmsg carrying two ints has cmsg_len = CMSG_LEN(8) = 24, which fits exactly with no MSG_CTRUNC, so the kernel installs both fds in the receiving process. The subsequent check `cmsg->cmsg_len == CMSG_LEN(sizeof(int))` (line 972, expected 20) fails, the branch that would read the fd is skipped, and neither installed fd is closed. The for(;;) loop calls recvmsg again (non-blocking → EAGAIN → Java maps to 0 → read loop exits normally), leaving two leaked fds per message. There is no MSG_CTRUNC handling. Reachable via Epoll/KQueue DomainSocketChannel when the application opts into DomainSocketReadMode.FILE_DESCRIPTORS (non-default). Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: rockchip: rkcif: Add missing MUST_CONNECT flag to pads
The pads missed checks for connected devices which may a null dereference

| The default configuration of Sun Java System Application Server 7 and 7 2004Q2 enables the HTTP TRACE method, which makes it easier for remote attackers to steal cookies and authentication credentials via a cross-site tracing (XST) attack, a related issue to CVE-2004-2763 and CVE-2005-3398. |
| NLnet Labs Unbound 1.6.2 up to and including version 1.25.0 has a denial of service vulnerability when compiled with DNSCrypt support ('--enable-dnscrypt'). A bad DNSCrypt query could underflow Unbound's DNSCrypt packet reading procedure that may lead to heap overflow. A malicious actor can exploit the vulnerability with a single bad DNSCrypt query that its decrypted plaintext consists entirely of '0x00' bytes and does not contain the expected '0x80' marker. Unbound would then start reading more bytes than necessary until it finds a non-'0x00' byte. Based on the underlying memory allocator and the memory layout, it could lead to heap overflow while reading followed by a crash. Likelihood of a crash is low, since it relies heavily on the underlying memory allocator and the memory layout. If the heap overflow does not happen, Unbound's later packet checks will deny the packet. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to bound reading in the given buffer space. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: logitech-hidpp: Check maxfield in hidpp_get_report_length()
Do not crash when a report has no fields.
Fake USB gadgets can send their own HID report descriptors and can define report
structures without valid fields. This can be used to crash the kernel over USB. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: iris: Add missing platform data entries for SM8750
Two platform-data fields for SM8750 were missed:
- get_vpu_buffer_size = iris_vpu33_buf_size
Without this, the driver fails to allocate the required internal
buffers, leading to basic decode/encode failures during session
bring-up.
- max_core_mbps = ((7680 * 4320) / 256) * 60
Without this capability exposed, capability checks are incomplete and
v4l2-compliance for encoder fails. |
| Issue summary: During processing of a crafted CMS EnvelopedData message
with KeyAgreeRecipientInfo a NULL pointer dereference can happen.
Impact summary: Applications that process attacker-controlled CMS data may
crash before authentication or cryptographic operations occur resulting in
Denial of Service.
When a CMS EnvelopedData message that uses KeyAgreeRecipientInfo is
processed, the optional parameters field of KeyEncryptionAlgorithmIdentifier
is examined without checking for its presence. This results in a NULL
pointer dereference if the field is missing.
Applications and services that call CMS_decrypt() on untrusted input
(e.g., S/MIME processing or CMS-based protocols) are vulnerable.
The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this
issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
comedi: dt2815: add hardware detection to prevent crash
The dt2815 driver crashes when attached to I/O ports without actual
hardware present. This occurs because syzkaller or users can attach
the driver to arbitrary I/O addresses via COMEDI_DEVCONFIG ioctl.
When no hardware exists at the specified port, inb() operations return
0xff (floating bus), but outb() operations can trigger page faults due
to undefined behavior, especially under race conditions:
BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 000000007fffff90
#PF: supervisor write access in kernel mode
#PF: error_code(0x0002) - not-present page
RIP: 0010:dt2815_attach+0x6e0/0x1110
Add hardware detection by reading the status register before attempting
any write operations. If the read returns 0xff, assume no hardware is
present and fail the attach with -ENODEV. This prevents crashes from
outb() operations on non-existent hardware. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: server: let send_done handle a completion without IB_SEND_SIGNALED
With smbdirect_send_batch processing we likely have requests without
IB_SEND_SIGNALED, which will be destroyed in the final request
that has IB_SEND_SIGNALED set.
If the connection is broken all requests are signaled
even without explicit IB_SEND_SIGNALED. |
| Apache Log4j Core's XmlLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/layouts.html#XmlLayout , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, fails to sanitize characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 specification https://www.w3.org/TR/xml/#charsets producing invalid XML output whenever a log message or MDC value contains such characters.
The impact depends on the StAX implementation in use:
* JRE built-in StAX: Forbidden characters are silently written to the output, producing malformed XML. Conforming parsers must reject such documents with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log-processing systems to drop the affected records.
* Alternative StAX implementations (e.g., Woodstox https://github.com/FasterXML/woodstox , a transitive dependency of the Jackson XML Dataformat module): An exception is thrown during the logging call, and the log event is never delivered to its intended appender, only to Log4j's internal status logger.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j Core 2.25.4, which corrects this issue by sanitizing forbidden characters before XML output. |
| CFNetwork in Apple Mac OS X 10.5 before 10.5.7 does not properly parse noncompliant Set-Cookie headers, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network for "secure cookies" that are sent over unencrypted HTTP connections. |
| The default configuration of xterm on Debian GNU/Linux sid and possibly Ubuntu enables the allowWindowOps resource, which allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code or have unspecified other impact via escape sequences. |
| Chipmunk Blogger Script allows remote attackers to gain administrator privileges via a direct request to admin/reguser.php. NOTE: this is only a vulnerability when the administrator does not properly follow installation directions. |
| The YaST2 LDAP module in yast2-ldap-server on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (aka SLE11) does not enable the firewall in certain circumstances involving reboots during online updates, which makes it easier for remote attackers to access network services. |
| The default configuration of autofs 5 in some Linux distributions, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, omits the nosuid option for the hosts (/net filesystem) map, which allows local users to gain privileges via a setuid program on a remote NFS server. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in OpenVPN 2.1-beta14 through 2.1-rc8, when running on non-Windows systems, allows remote servers to execute arbitrary commands via crafted (1) lladdr and (2) iproute configuration directives, probably related to shell metacharacters. |
| Insecure method vulnerability in the Versalsoft HTTP Image Uploader ActiveX control (UUploaderSvrD.dll 6.0.0.35) allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files via the RemoveFileOrDir method. |
| The default configuration of consolehelper in system-config-network before 1.5.10-1 on Fedora 8 lacks the USER=root directive, which allows local users of the workstation console to gain privileges and change the network configuration. |
